Just been searching for any interesting concepts of how to style a living room if there is no chance to get a seperate space for a dining area. And the room is not exactly of the gratest size. I'm thinking positively though and also believe that the connection of a living and a dining room will encourage our social life. It's a glorious thing having friends around for a saturday tea, serving delicious things in a cozy area.
Easy thing to do - when putting the table and chairs to a living room is a must (like for me - I just can't go without it) is dividing these two spaces by hanging a different kind of light above it or putting a rug (as long as it still fits even if a chair is moved aside). A bit risky but how appealing is matching different chairs to the table.
