Bohemian autumn in its fully swing

And here we go - first day of autumn was as if truly made for me - sunny, warm and richly scented. It's another moment when I feel it's never the best time slot for me to get organised (whether it comes to buy boots for winter or pack a swimsuit when going on holidays). Do chilly nights make me feel like having a hot bath or the bed more cosy - not so fast! Opposites attract - are they not? Therefore I was thinking about summer again - as if it could allow me to bring it back for a little while. Thinking about bohemian, hot summer I would like to fling a light dress and get drunk on the beach. As it's not possible now I've taken up a hobby (or maybe it's alredy been one of my evoking interests? ) - spending hours in the world of my colourful, slavic, bohemian dreams this being deeply hidden, my inner craftsman has finally got released (craftswoman? Oh! I hate the way the language must have been modified because of the feminists...) Any way - fall will go boho in my place, the colour red in all shades and the passion for botanical universe is to result in some decorating, unexpected designs. ALL HAND-MADE (Oh I'm so self-flattering) BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL

Even if I wanted to change the floors in our apartment (for white - obviously!) I don't think our landlord would go for it - wood would be safer, then (though I'm still going to ask about white...) That brings me the idea of mixing my favourite white and black with wooden accents which still make the place stylish and add some welcomed touch of colour to the interior.

Inspiring workspace

Even a small place in a house (if there isn't any separate room for a study) may be converted in a fabolous and inspiring area I believe. For the time being this is my pain in the neck - no desk, no worktop, not even chairs (they are to be delivered next week). 

But... As the renovation is not going so smoothly as I was hoping, there's at least some time to get basic things done. And I'm now so excited about how I'm going to arrange my future workspace.

It was a bit chilly this morning and the rainy day made me to get back to bed right after finishing work. Should I think this was the right decision, I am to realize later, tossing and turning and thinking about my morning coffee tomorrow... Or grabbing some innocent snacks from the fridge in the middle of the night. What a girl to do?...

I seriously need to visit my parents in Poland this autumn - as long as it's still not to cool to spend evenings outside, even if it means being wrapped with a warm blanket but having a good book to read. There's a boston ivy on my mother's terrace that she planted by mistake (is what she claims as it supposed to be a traveller's joy!) And I love its look especially in the fall.

Modern boho = modest boho

What I like in bohemian interiors is the balance between sophistication and kitsch. The grandness mixed with colourful decorations and neatly connected shades of violets, reds and roses. Let's see this velvety, touch-me, leave on the edge boho chic style input to an interior. 'Mix and match - there's never too much' and it's said in a positive way as the boho interiors are so welcoming and warm that there's only one thing to do - kick your shoes of and relax. Or.. maybe - for the fans of rather pure and 'raw' interiors - take them with a pinch of salt by which I mean - add just a little bit of boho. How exciting that can be?

Let's laze

It's a lazy Sunday which is good cause Sundays are supposed to be lazy, aren't they? It's a sort of those days you like to think about yourselves, sprawl on the sofa, watch Bridget Jones and drink wine. Time is luxurious and it makes itself scarce somehow when the need of pampering ourselves a little is overcoming other feelings. Wondering how to tackle this day (barely I can imagine a free day that is really, really free) and fill it with nice, lazy moments of nothing but relaxation. Nothing lifts the spirit the way a day like this. 

This Sunday brings me the idea of cozy and fun (a bit ostentatiuos maybe) interiors that might be preferable at times when you need nothing but comfy feel of shammy cusions and soft blanket. And a cuppa of course. 

Dream kitchen

Dream of having a beautiful kitchen is so girly I think. It reminds me of little girls' playing doll houses, reordering the toys and little furniture in them, deciding what a barbie will do here and there or imagining what she'll see through the window. 

Hmm... It's time to replace the doll house with a real thing.
